He led several complex innovation projects with generation of intellectual propriety and societal impact. He led business modeling BlueHacks worldwide and enabled an ecosystem of more than 20K developers and entrepreneurs in IBM Cloud Emerging Technologies. His work on Cognitive Smart Cities and Crowdsourcing featured in IBM’s 5-in-5, he has 18 patents filed, 35 published articles with hundreds of citations. He is an Engineer (Eng) with Master degrees in Computer Science (MSc) and Business Administration (MBA). He is a member of IBM’s Academy of Technology.

Kevin created and currently leads the Emerging Technologies and Innovation Strategy globally for TSS focused on big data, automation, analytics and cognitive capabilities. He also collaborates with the IBM Research organization to drive design, develop and implement key initiatives to assist the organization with delivering world class technical support to our Clients. Kevin's extensive background in Support, experience and knowledge of IBM's global service delivery process has led to many operational efficiency enhancements included Watson for Support and Augmented Reality.

Pat Corcoran leads the global strategy and direction for IBM Business Resiliency Services. He developed the original practice and has 42 years of professional IT, services and management experience in diverse technology projects and international market segments, working with a variety of organizations ranging from Fortune 500 to startup companies.
Pat is also a member of IBM’s crisis response efforts for numerous regional crisis events, including the aftermath of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, Hurricane Katrina, Haiti Earthquake, March 11, 2011 Japan Earthquake/Tsunami, Hurricane Sandy, and COVID-19.
A regular conference speaker on the topics of risk, crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery, Pat is a Special Advisor to the Disaster Recovery Journal Editorial Advisory Board and past member on the Advisory Board of Continuity Insights.
