Massive Google Data Center Coming to Netherlands - Google will invest $773 million in a data center project in Eemshaven, a seaport in Groningen, Netherlands. Construction is set to begin in 2016.

IBM Pitches New North Carolina DR Site, Business Continuity Center - IBM has officially unveiled its newest business continuity center in Research Triangle Park (Durham, North Carolina), which includes data center space and can act as a DR site (disaster recovery). Active since July, the facility already has its first customer, a mobile banking and payment company called Monitise.
