I couldn't resist a headline on Andy Beal's Marketing Pilgrim blog titled "Oprah's Video of the Googleplex." At the end of the clip, Oprah adds an interesting detail: Google now gets more than 1,300 resumes a day.

So if you're one of the many data center professionals eager to apply for jobs at one of the new Google facilities, you'll need to be patient, because the company's HR department is reviewing a LOT of applications. Want some tips on making your resume stick out? Check out an InfoWorld Q&A with Judy Gilbert, the director of staffing at Google. Also of interest is a New York Times article on Google's use of online surveys to automate elements of their review process.

As jobs at new facilities are listed, we'll add them to our Data Center Job Board, which currently includes a number of Google listings, including an opportunity at Goose Creek, S.C.
