The Facebook data center team is providing regular updates on its construction progress at the Prineville facility, including information on its hiring of local contractors. The latest update includes more than 30 photos of the construction site. The photos don't provide any insight into the design just yet, but the Facebook team is promising more to come.

Despite the history of secrecy around data center location and design, we've seen a growing number of recent projects document their construction progress on blogs and social media.
