Fast-growing shared hosting company iPowerWeb recently announced the opening of an expanded and upgraded data center in downtown Los Angeles. The expansion adds an additional 6,000 square feet of data center floor space and four times the prior rack capacity. An expanded network capacity offers 4 Gigabits (4 billion bits per second) of usable bandwidth, and two additional network routes into the data center from different providers, which allow for an added layer of network redundancy.

"We are proud to announce yet another IPOWER expansion that will further benefit our customers," said David Sipes, Director of IT at IPOWER, Inc. "The new features in this data center are just one more way we are continuing our commitment to provide cutting-edge system enhancements."
