Microsoft is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Redmond, WA. The position includes being responsible for expediting service restoration by acting as the technical leader during outages for online services; monitoring for real time performance of an operations center that supports the servers, network devices, and applications; participating in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans; and driving service improvements through strong partnerships. ViaWest has an opening for a Data Center Engineer for Nights/Weekends in Aurora, CO. The engineer will monitor the buildings HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems; performs preventive maintenance, site surveys, replacement of electrical and mechanical equipment; and be able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans and other technical documents.
