Digital Realty Trust is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Technician (heating, ventilation, and Air Conditioning) at its Bedford, MA data center. This individual will report to the on-site Director and will be part of a mission-critical facilities management team charged with insuring 100% uptime at this location.
Candidates for this position must possess strong HVAC/mechanical/electrical skills and be willing to work in a fast-paced, mission critical environment. Responsibilities include
Efficient, uninterrupted operation of central cooling plant.
Preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance of chillers, pumps, piping, air handlers, boilers, computer room air handlers (CRAH’s), and controls.
Working knowledge of JCI Metasys Building Automation System, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Repair.
5 years in Data Center Facilities Management or equivalent experience in maintenance/construction of Data Centers or other critical environments.
