Cloud Computing and Virtualization for Public Sector and Enterprise 2012, scheduled for May 15 at The International Hotel in Canary Wharf London, is a one-day conference and exhibition for senior IT professionals of major private sector enterprises, central and local government, and NGOs.

Businesses in the United Kingdom (or around the world) can no longer ignore the substantial cost and efficiency benefits of cloud computing and virtualization. In many sectors, their competitive advantage now depends on it. Those that aren’t already implementing or improving a solution are ready to understand their options and examine the benefits versus costs.

Speakers include: Luke Mahon, customer evangelist for Dell Cloud solutions in EMEA, will speak on Building a Brownfield Cloud, and provide insights into how server/storage/fabric infrastructure can be managed as a converged entity to offer a stateless platform for building self-service, self-regulating and highly-automated private cloud. Glyn Bowden, Enterprise Infrastructure Architect at NetApp, will speak about building the business case for cloud. A series of five one-hour seminars from Dell, EMC, Fusion I-O,Huawei and APC by Schneider Electric will be running in the afternoon to allow attendees to understand complex areas of specific interest.
