Research shows there is more demand for data center resources and that power and power density continues to increase. The amount of power we're providing into the rack continues to grow with more use-cases around business demand. And, with more demands being put on data centers, as well as more data center builds including energizing components such as substations, the wire and cable requirements to power your data center are becoming more complex with limited resources available for installation. Building trends such as high-density data centers, modularization, and new energy efficient strategies all make choosing the right wire and cable vital for a successful project. Designing the system correctly can significantly impact the safety of a project, the longevity and reliability of your data center, and future maintenance costs.

In this webinar, we will discuss:

  • Trends in data center construction and what it means for wire and cable power options

  • Key growth metrics around rack and data center power consumption

  • The demand for power will only continue to grow with evolving use-cases

  • Placing an emphasis on safety when planning your data center

  • Designing in future needs when choosing wire and cable

  • Wire and cable considerations from the power connection through the entrance room
