Level 3 Extends Network to Telehouse Chelsea - Telehouse America said Wednesday that Level 3 Communications has extended its high-capacity network into Telehouse's new  Chelsea data center. Located at 85 10th Avenue, Telehouse's New York Chelsea facility offers  secure colocation for IT networks and infrastructures.

Phoenix NAP Joins VMware Service Provider Program - Phoenix NAP is now a member of the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) as an Enterprise level member. As part of the VMware vCloud initiative, the VSPP is a framework that enables service and hosting providers to consume VMware virtualization solutions in a way that aligns with their business models. By utilizing VMware technology the data center is able to deliver cloud computing services that support the largest set of existing applications and offer distinctive application mobility. Phoenix NAP Secured Cloud clients are able to benefit from VMware's application portability and achieve flexibility and security to meet their requirements while continuing to enable increased IT agility. Online Tech Invests $1 Million in Michigan Data Center Expansion - Online Tech disclosed today that it has invested over $1 million upgrading and expanding its Mid-Michigan data center over the last 9 months. The data center was built in 1986 by EDS as a disaster recovery data center for General Motors. Online Tech took over the data center in 2005 with its acquisition of Gentech and has since continued to invest in the multi-tenant data center. From Press Release.
