Friday Funny: A Cable Conundrum Cartoon
It’s Friday and time for a bit of workplace humor. Diane Alber, the Arizona artist who created Kip and Gary, has a new cartoon for Data Center Knowledge’s cartoon caption contest. We challenge our readers to submit a funny caption that fits the comedic situation. Please add your entry in the comments below. Then, next week, our readers will vote for the best submission.
Last week, the entry from Erick Jensen – “Should we tell him that at the end of this rainbow is only a pot of Bitcoins?” – was deemed the best. Great pop culture reference, Erik! Congratulations! We will contact you and make sure you get a signed print of the cartoon from the artist.
Here’s Diane’s thoughts on this week’s cartoon, “I’ve seen some pretty horrific cabling closets and I just couldn’t imagine having to do a patch. That was what inspired this next comic.”

Posted March 17th, 2012Kip, do you think this outfit can one-up Lady Gaga?
Kip, I found out where all the extra wire on that Purchase Order went. Turns out that the network team was going to the office costume party as a data closet and got a bit carried away!
