• Wachovia to Open $400 Million Data Center

    Banking giant Wachovia Corp. is ready to begin processing financial transaction from its new $400 million data center facility near Birmingham, Alabama, according to the Birmingham Business Journal. The 220,000 square foot facility includes at least 100,000 square feet of equipment space and 10,000 square feet of office space. Construction was completed in less than a year, a month ahead of schedule. Read more at the BizJournals site.
