At the Data Center Jobs Board, we have two new job listings from Microsoft, which is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, Microsoft Data Center Operations in Quincy, Washington and a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Microsoft Data Center Operations in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The Senior Electrical Engineer, Microsoft Data Center Operations must have a strong technical knowledge in the operation and maintenance of facility electrical systems and data centers, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, security, life safety systems, and controls. Candidate would also have technical knowledge on building automation systems including monitoring and alarm systems, must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have project management and organizational skills and be familiar with advanced operational processes and procedures in dealing with large data center environments. The Senior Mechanical Engineer, Microsoft Data Center Operations must have a strong technical knowledge in the operation of raised floor environments, various heating and cooling systems such as centrifugal chillers, chilled water, closed loop systems and thermal storage cooling systems, CRAH and CRAC air handling equipment and knowledge of water treatment practices.
