- DTI selects TelecityGroup to launch European cloud - Digital Technology International (DTI) today announced it has chosen TelecityGroup as its data centre partner in Europe to support its launch of DTI Cloud, its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) publishing platform for digital and print publishing. Headquartered near Salt Lake City, Utah and with seven offices in Europe and the UK, DTI delivers solutions for every aspect of digital and print publishing including circulation, content management (CMS), and advertising.
- Virtus finishes London data center build - Virtus Data Centers has finished the first phase of its Tier III Enfield data center in North London. The Tier III Enhanced Data Centre has 802 sq m of technical space with 200 sq m of self contained data center halls with an average power density of 1,500 Watts per square meter. - AFCOM Sets Finalists for Data Center Manager Award - The data center association AFCOM today announced the finalists for its annual “Data Center Manager of the Year” award. The 2011 finalists, Billie Haggard, senior vice president, data centers, CoreSite; Tom Roberts, manager, data center facilities, Trinity Information Services; and Abdulaziz Al-Shafi, administrator of IT computer operations, Saudi ARAMCO.
