Center 7 Announces Utah Data Center

Colocation provider Center 7, Inc. today announced a new 10,500 square foot data center in Lindon, Utah.

Colocation provider Center 7, Inc. today announced a new 10,500 square foot data center in Lindon, Utah. The new facility is housed within Canopy Building 5, a 95,000 square foot high-tech office building developed by Canopy Properties in the Lindon City business park. The new facility will create expansion space for Center 7's growing customer base.

"This increase in data center inventory offers companies in the Utah region new options for world-class co-location and hosting services," said Nathan Hatch, president & CEO of Center 7. "We've dramatically expanded our service options with new storage and inexpensive bandwidth capacity. This new facility creates a new dynamic environment for all customers looking for hosting and SaaS services."


This will be the fourth Utah data center for Center 7, which also maintains its own facility in Canopy Building 1 and partners with providers in Provo and Salt Lake City. C7 said it expects to begin installing customers in January.

Canopy Properties is part of Canopy, a company founded by the late Ray Noorda, former CEO of Novell. Canopy Properties currently owns and manages four buildings with 230,000 square feet of high-tech office space along in Lindon, Utah.

"We accommodate a high-tech environment in that we provide top-of-the-line resources such as data centers and underground infrastructures that make communication with the outside world an easy and successful proposition," said Gerald Garbe, vice president of Canopy Properties. "These types of facilities are required to support the growth of almost all companies in our region."
