Steve Sams, Vice President, Site & Facilities Services, IBM, presented about modular installations. His talk was titled - Lessons Learned from 500 Modular Data Center Implementations - and he emphasized modular is not just containers.
Modular and container data centers were covered by also dscussed by Hunter Newby, CEO of Allied Fiber, in an afternoon presentation.
The DataCenterDynamics Expo provided the opportunity for equipment vendors like Intellibatt, which makes UPS and back-up battery systems, to showcase their wares.
