Strata Conference 2013: Making Data Work

February 26-28: Santa Clara, CA

O'Reilly's Strata 2013 conference will convene Feb. 26-28, 2013 in Santa Clara, Calif., encouraging participants to tap into the collective intelligence of more than 150 data experts.

The conference includes opportunities to discover how some of the world's most successful companies (like Google and Microsoft) tackle and use big data; explore proven best practices, new analytic approaches, and useful tools, tips, and technologies for Big Data; dive into detailed case studies of data successes; and learn how to use the data you already have and how you can find and acquire useful data that others have.

Keynote presenters include: Danah Boyd, Microsoft Research, who works at Microsoft Research New England and is a Fellow at the Harvard University Berkman Center for Internet and Society; Eric Colson, Chief Analytics Officer, Stitch Fix, who for more than 18 years has led data-oriented teams that span algorithms and machine learning, Big Data and data warehousing, and analytics and business intelligence; Yael Garten, a Senior Data Scientist, LinkedIn, where she leads the mobile data analytics team; and Rajat Taneja, Chief Technology Officer, Electronic Arts, a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment, and others.

Strata frequently sells out. The conference organizers suggest registering by November 29 to reserve your place at the discounted rate. For more detail and registration, visit Strata 2013 website.
