Video: The Future of Big Data and Data Warehouses
At this week’s Strata Conference in New York City, O’Reilly Online Managing Editor Mac Slocum spoke with Ben Werther, Founder and CEO of Platfora. Werther explains his perspective, which he articulated in a recent blog post, “The End of the Data Warehouse” about the future of data science. The emerging technologies, along with unstructured databases like Hadoop, can provide companies with flexibility in analyzing their data as the organization changes its questions, Werther says.
