The Electrical Engineer, Data Center, will be responsible for defining data center electrical infrastructural system design, specifying performance requirements, and ensuring that the conceptual design drawings and programming requirements are accurate and compatible to the AEs designs; creating and coordinating on the review of conceptual design proposals to ensure conformance to platforms design requirements including predicted power density, flexibility of power deployment, and continuous improvement of power utilizations; and defining/creating the electrical infrastructure interfaces for all IT equipment with a view for optimizing utilization and minimizing the total cost of ownership. The Data Center Facilities Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and defining the mechanical system design requirements and interfaces to plant infrastructures between the various internal stakeholders and the data center design/build team; supporting PM in the gathering of internal mechanical system design requirements and delivering solutions that both satisfy customer’s needs and meet plant interface requirements; providing conceptual design drawings as part of the design requirements and interface spec development; and providing mechanical system analysis as required to support design concept. The Data Center Network Engineer will be responsible for providing effectively documenting to communicate these designs via Statements of Work and Standards for construction and deployment; owning the designs and specifications for optical and physical networking infrastructure in Google data-center/co-location facilities; representing data center engineering team to serve in a central design and operation capacity to contribute in all the Network infrastructure related design and implementation projects; and collaborating with network design team to continuously develop and enhance the physical networking infrastructures within large scale data center and colocation sites.
