The Field Application Engineer is responsible for identifying key customer issues and driving to closure by partnering with internal engineering and external supplier teams, building relationships across the customers organization to ensure that ZT products are best in class, assessing customer workloads and trends and tying those requirements back to new technologies, recommending product changes and transitions as required to grow with the customer, and developing and maintaining in-depth understanding of industry standard workloads and trends in cloud compute infrastructure. The Systems Engineer is responsible for working directly with customers on integration and deployment of new server hardware including configuring of BIOS, PXE, UBoot, IPMI, and RAID,  driving closure of issues by working with internal team members and 3rd party vendors, qualifying new hardware on Microsoft Server Operating Systems in customer labs, ensuring customer technical issues are addressed in a timely manner, working with internal team and on-site customer teams to identity, track, root-cause and resolve issues, and providing input on new server products and engineering processes.
