• Friday Funny: Don’t Be Left in the Dark

Time for our Friday Funny! It’s been a short 4-day work week in the U.S., but it’s still good to look at the calendar on Friday. Let’s celebrate the end of the week with a little humor.

Here’s how it works: We provide the cartoon (drawn by Diane Alber, our favorite data center cartoonist) and you, our readers, submit the captions. We then choose finalists and the readers vote for their favorite funniest suggestion. The winner will receive their caption in a print signed by Diane. Please visit Diane’s website Kip and Gary for more of her data center humor. Congrats to last time’s winner Anthony Parkes of The Schofield Centre, who submitted, “Water cooling is the way forward.”

Below is our “Dark Squirrel” cartoon for the Data Center Knowledge caption contest. Kip and Gary are getting in trouble again!

Diane writes: “I was shocked to hear that squirrels had been a culprit of some major data center outages over the years. So I thought, why not create a comic about it.”

Add your caption that best fits the cartoon below in the comments. You could be a winner!
