A look at the racks inside the new SoftLayer Technologies DAL05 data center in Dallas.

SoftLayer is one of the world’s largest providers of hosting and IT infrastructure, running more than 100,000 servers [1] in a dozen data centers around the world. One of the company’s newer data centers is its DAL05 facility in the company’s Dallas headquarters complex. In this video, site manager Josh Daley provides a tour of the DAL05 data center, including a closer look at SoftLayer’s servers and network. This video runs about 8 minutes.

The background tracks for the video were put together by SoftLayer’s Chris Interrante [2].
