Codero Opening New Data Center in Ashburn - Codero Hosting, a provider of dedicated, managed, and cloud hosting services, announced today that it will open a new data center location in Ashburn, Va. This will be the company’s third U.S. site for its rapidly growing, worldwide customer base. The new Ashburn data center is located in the Dulles Technology Corridor, home to many high-tech corporations and government agencies, where 60 percent of all Internet traffic passes through making it one of the most important technology hubs in the U.S.
NetFusion Uses IO Data Center as a Service - IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data center technology and services, today announced NetFusion Services, a managed services provider, has deployed IO Data Center as a Service (DCaaS). IO DCaaS is delivered to NetFusion Services out of the IO Phoenix and IO Scottsdale data centers. This approach supplies NetFusion Services with secure, cost-effective data center infrastructure without having to invest resources to deploy and maintain its own data center.
Kettinger Completes Purchase of IEA - James Kettinger, who has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of IEA, Inc., for the past five years completed his purchase of the company from George and Sue Newell on May 16th. Kettinger, who served as IEA’s CEO following four years consulting with the Company on strategic and financial management issues, explained that to take advantage of its many domestic and global growth opportunities, IEA needed to expand its financing base. IEA is the parent company of modular data center manufacturer Silver Linings Systems.
