Last week saw the launch of Compass Datacenters, a new company based in Dallas planning to bring turn-key data centers to second-tier markets. Compass was co-founded by Chris Crosby, a key player for many years at Digital Realty Trust. The company says it is optimizing its data center design to fit the demand profile of smaller markets, while deploying its development capital in an efficient manner. This video provides an overview of the design of Compass facilities. This video runs about 3 minutes, 30 seconds.
