IO selected by Impulse Advanced Communications. IO announced that it has been awarded a contract by Impulse Advanced Communications, a leading communications service provider. From its Phoenix data center IO will provide Impulse with its Data Center as a Service (DCaaS). This approach gives Impulse a high-performance, cost-effective solution without having to invest resources in building and maintaining its own data center. "Our value proposition is designing voice and data networks that prepare customers for growth, and IO provides us with scalability to accommodate the expansion we need to make to keep pace with our customers," said Dave Clark, President, Impulse Advanced Communications. "IO Phoenix is a great match for us because of the area’s limited risk from natural disasters – important for Southern California companies like Impulse. Also, IO provides robust network connectivity which is critical to our business communications services."
QTS selected by Freightquote.com. Quality Technology Services (QTS) announced that it has been selected by Freightquote.com, the nation's largest online freight broker, to handle the company's growing data center service requirements. Freightquote.com extended their services with QTS in the Overland Park data center and expanded its logistics management platform, causing the company to seek increased IT hosting infrastructure. "We're pleased that after reviewing all available options, Freightquote.com has determined that QTS remains the best option for its data center solutions," said Chad Williams, chief executive officer of QTS. "Freightquote.com and QTS have much in common, and it is our privilege to support a fellow rapidly-growing, Kansas City-born company as it continues to cement its status as a technologically-driven industry leader."
Interxion selected by Geo Networks. Interxion Holding (INXN) announced that dedicated fiber infrastructure provider, Geo Networks Ltd (Geo) has become part of the Content Hub community in Interxion's City of London data center. Geo will expand their footprint in order to better serve the needs of the digital media community.
