Just eight months after stepping down, GoGrid founder John Keagy has returned as chief executive officer of the cloud hosting provider. Keagy replaces Warren Heffelfinger, who took the helm last June when Keagy gave up the CEO post to become Executive Chairman.

Keagy's focus in that role was "the company's long-term vision, industry evangelism and executive engagement with strategic customers and partners." But now he's back at the helm and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the growing cloud provider.

“2011 was another banner year for GoGrid, with excellent growth in revenue and profit and exciting new technology and services,” said Keagy. “With the successful launch of our new EMEA Headquarters and data center in Amsterdam, we’re well on the way to fulfilling our long-term vision of bringing the GoGrid cloud to all major markets worldwide. For more than 10 years, GoGrid has brought global efficiencies to infrastructure deployment and management, and I’m excited to drive our business forward in solving our customers’ complex cloud challenges.”
