Korean Gaming Firm Expands at Telehouse West - Telehouse has announced an agreement with Korean online games developer and publisher, Joymax to provide a point-of-presence (PoP), within its Telehouse West data centre, located in London Docklands; this will enable the faster delivery of content to its online gaming customers. Joymax was established in 1997 and over the past 14 years has steadily grown to become a leading player within the online gaming community. Joymax was looking to expand its presence into the European market. Its key requirements focused on a resilient connection and low latency to the European gaming hubs. Joymax, after looking at several providers across London and the rest of Europe, decided upon Telehouse and its Telehouse West hub.

IO Announces Contract with ISSQUARED - Modular data center provider IO has been awarded a contract with information systems management service provider ISSQUARED, Inc., the company said today. IO will provide ISSQUARED with Data Center as a Service at IO Phoenix, delivered through its modular data center technology platform IO Anywhere. ISSQUARED is an information technology start-up firm which seeks to provide end-to-end services that integrate technology & process consulting, service architecture and business process outsourcing.

SOASTA Raises $12 Million for Cloud Testing: SOASTA, which specializes in cloud-based performance testing, today announced it has secured $12 million in funding. The round was led by The Entrepreneurs’ Fund, with participation from prior investors Canaan Partners, Formative Ventures, and Pelion Venture Partners. The proceeds will accelerate the company’s international expansion and support its technology leadership position in web and mobile testing through increased investments in the burgeoning mobile testing market.

Inland Fiber Deepens Ties With Oracle: Colocation provider Inland Fiber & Data (IF&D) has joined the Oracle PartnerNetwork. An extension of IF&D’s relationship with Oracle’s Pillar Data Systems, IF&D provides Pillar’s Axiom data storage system with a fiber-rich, easily accessible Florida location for its on-site installation, featuring IF&D’s data suite, colocation and “Storage on a Wire” hosted storage offerings. Inland’s primary facilities in Winter Haven, Florida include over 40,000 square feet of data center and disaster recovery space and approximately 45,000 square feet of carrier and telco hotel facilities.
