Friday Funny: Vote for the Best Caption
It’s Friday, so it’s time for our Friday Funny Caption Contest here on Data Center Knowledge! Thanks to all our readers who sent in caption suggestions. Lots of them were very funny, but we have narrowed it down to the five best.
Here’s how it works. Below is a comic, drawn by data center cartoonist Diane Alber. Please vote below for the best caption submitted. The winner of each contest will be the person whose caption received the greatest number of valid votes (“Votes”) from the public by Wednesday, Oct 19, 2011 at 5 pm EST.
Please click on Vote to select your favorite.
The prize is a print of the comic, signed by Diane and including the caption submitted by the winner. Here’s the completed Kip and Gary cartoon, awaiting its reader caption. Click the image for a larger version. Be sure to vote using the poll directly beneath the cartoon.

Here’s the poll: Vote for your favorite! If you didn’t have a chance to provide a caption this time, don’t worry we will have a new comic next week. Thank you for everyone that participated and we look forward to seeing the captions for the next comic.
Data Center Caption Contest-Your IT Closet in the bathroom? - Kip and Gary » Kip and Gary
Posted October 17th, 2011[...] It’s week two of the caption contest! Thank you to everyone that participated in the last one! You have two days left to provide your caption. This idea was brought to me by my future husband who recently moved into a new office and forgot to design an IT closet. When I showed up during construction I asked him where he planned to put his IT Closet and he was unaware that he actually needed a space for it. I told it had to be in a cool secure place, and immediately he said to put it in the bathroom! I obviously wouldn’t let that happen, but apparently this seems to be a common problem Either people have just run out of space and it seems to be the only space available or they just didn’t design a spot all together. So here is the comic I created, please add your caption at data center knowledge’s website, click here to enter! [...]
