O'Reilly Strata Conference: Making Data Work

February 28-March1: Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara

From startups to the Fortune 500, smart companies are betting on data-driven insight. The O'Reilly Strata Conference 2012 to be hosted in Santa Clara, Calif. on February 28-March 1, 2012 aims to help companies get control of the new data opportunity. Participants can immerse themselves in three full days of hands-on training, information-rich sessions, and a sponsor pavilion filled with the key players and products. This event brings together the people, tools, and technologies one needs to make data work.

At the inaugural Strata Conference in February 2011, a sold-out crowd of developers, analysts, researchers, and entrepreneurs discussed an evolving field: data science. People in this space need to possess a blend of specialized skills—including programming, data analysis, visualization design, and entrepreneurship. The professional with these abilities is in growing demand by start-ups and large corporations alike.
