Paragon Development Systems (PDS) plans to invest $25 million to build a data center in Milwaukee County to help customers use their private cloud networks more efficiently.

Paragon Development Systems (PDS) plans to build a data center in Milwaukee County to help customers use their private cloud networks more efficiently, according to local media. Craig Schiefelbein, founder and chief executive officer of PDS, told the Journal-Sentinel that the facility will cost more than $25 million to build.

PDS, which has about 300 employees and more than $177 million of annual revenue, also plans to provide disaster recovery services, Schiefelbein said. The 50,000-square-foot data center will be funded by privately held PDS and Mason Wells, a Milwaukee private equity firm that has a stake in PDS. "We are building a cutting edge data center that would have a huge impact in our region," Schiefelbein said.
