A founding member of the company’s Board of Directors since 2001, Heffelfinger assumes responsibility for GoGrid’s overall leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations. Former CEO John Keagy, a GoGrid founder, will transition to a new role as Executive Chairman responsible for developing the company’s long-term vision, industry evangelism and executive engagement with strategic customers and partners. Terremark sees value in containerized data center modules [2] – Managed services provider Terremark recently bought a 480 kW containerized UPS from Active Power as a stop gap solution to help bring a large, new colocation customer on board. “There was no more room in the data center for a UPS,” said Ben Stewart, senior vice president for facility engineering for Terremark. “By pulling up an Active Power PowerHouse, we were able to provide the additional power, quick and easy.” From SearchDataCenter.
