Reminder: Uptime Symposium is Next Week

A reminder for last-minute planners: The Uptime Institute Symposium 2011 will be held next Monday through Thursday (May 9-12) at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, CA. The symposium’s theme this year is “The Disrupted Data Center: Cloud, Cost, Capacity and Carbon.”

The event will feature scores of presentations, roundtables, and panel discussions, as well as opportunities to book time with peers, leading analysts and consultants. Companies presenting include Google, Facebook, i/o and APC by Schneider, in addition to experts from The Uptime Institute, Tier 1 Research and The 451 Group. There will also be an exhibition hall with hundreds of products aimed at improving energy and resource efficiency in the data center and beyond.
