RagingWire Fills in Expansion Plans – Sacramento data center provider RagingWire Enterprise Solutions is discussing additional details of its expansion plans. Last week the company announced $75 million in new financing to support a soon-to-open data center in Sacramento as well as other projects, said RagingWire spokesman Doug Adams, who also discussed other potential sites. “We’re looking at building a facility on the East Coast,” he said. “We’re also looking at a facility in the Pacific Northwest.” From Trading Markets.

CyrusOne’s West Houston Campus Earns LEED Silver – CyrusOne recently earned LEED Silver Certification established by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for the environmentally friendly design of its West Houston Data Center, located along the North West Beltway between Interstate I-10 and Highway 290. The CyrusOne West Houston data center is the first Core and Shell to be certified in Houston and the second data center to be certified in Houston. Press release.

NextLevel InternetOpens San Diego Data Center – NextLevel Internet has opened an 88,000 square foot SAS 70 Type II compliant data center in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The expansion to the new World Trade Drive Data Center follows the relocation of NextLevel Internet’s headquarters to North County San Diego in September 2010. NextLevel Internet provides business-to-business co-location, Internet, hosted voice, and managed data services for organizations of all size.

Peak 10 Opens Second Richmond Data Center – -Peak 10 Inc., a managed services company with world-class data centers, today announced the opening of its second enterprise-class facility contiguous with current operations in Richmond. The 13,500 square-foot addition brings Peak 10 Richmond’s total footprint to nearly 30,000 square feet and will be the company’s 19th data center facility within its 10 U.S. markets. Press release.
