CipherOptics Announces Completion of $21M Financing - CipherOptics, the leader in scalable network encryption, announced today that it has completed a $21 million financing in an over-subscribed round. Led by existing investor Adams Capital Management, the round included new investors Blue Heron Capital, Intuitive Venture Partners, Next Stage Capital, Kestrel Asset Management and other individuals joining Origin Partners and Axiom Venture Partners as investors. Molex Purchases Luxtera's Silicon Photonics-based AOC Business - Molex Incorporated (MOLX), a global leader in the high speed interconnect marketplace, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Luxtera's Active Optical Cable (AOC) business. Luxtera, the worldwide leader in Silicon CMOS Photonics, will transfer all aspects of its existing and future AOC business to Molex including current QSFP+ (Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable) 40Gbps Ethernet and InfiniBand products and customers.
