High Performance Computing at Amazon
“The cloud is truly revolutionizing all businesses and industries, including HPC,” says Amazon CTO Werner Vogel says in his pre-recorded keynote for SC10, the supercomputing industry event underway in New Orleans. Vogels used his video keynote to announced Amazon Web Services’ Cluster GPU Instance, a new offering that provides easy access to cloud-based GPU processing for the masses. Also presenting is Deepak Singh, Senior Business Development Manager at AWS, who describes the role of Hadoop MapReduce in the AWS strategy. This video runs about 8 minutes.
