The Cisco Borderless Challenge
September 21st, 2010 By: Kevin Normandeau
Over the past year we’ve written about a lot of the innovations Cisco has brought to the data center. On Oct. 5 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time Cisco will be hosting a live event where the company will be making announcements about its latest data center innovations and new borderless networks.
In addition to the announcements there will be a 3-D virtual challenge where you can compete with your peers in answering questions about these new technologies in an effort to win a variety of prizes (including trips to see wonders of the world).
To help you brush up for this event, we can tell you that Cisco will be launching its Data Center Business Advantage, an architectural framework that is designed to help companies create strong links between IT investments and business goals. The framework is built on Cisco’s Unified Fabric, Unified Computing and Unified Network Services. These technologies combine to create highly scalable IT infrastructure that is quick to deploy and reusable – features that are extremely valuable if you need to rapidly expand your data center operations.
When registering for this event, be sure to enter the address where they can ship your special 3-D glasses. Click here to register.
