Scenes from the Tier 1 Summit

DH Capital Partner and Managing Director Mark Thorsheim felt this year's strong performance by the data center industry called for a celebratory blast on the vuvuzela.
It’s been a strong year for the data center industry, filled with announcements of IPOs and acquisitions, as noted in several sessions at yesterday’s Hosting & Cloud Transformation Summit North America in Las Vegas, presented by Tier 1 Research and The 451 Group. That prompted Mark Thorsheim, Partner and Managing Director at DH Capital, to offer a celebratory blast on the vuvuzela, the South African horn that gained global renown for annoying soccer fans during the recent World Cup. Fortunately, once the serenade was finished, Thorsheim shared data on the strong performance by publicly-held data center providers. Check out our photo gallery of scenes from Tuesday’s first day of presentations and sessions.
