Lincoln Property Acquires Rackhouse Group

Real estate developer Lincoln Property Company has acquired Dallas-based Rackhouse Group, which specializes in tenant representation for companies seeking data center space.

Real estate developer Lincoln Property Company has acquired Dallas-based Rackhouse Group, which specializes in tenant representation for companies seeking data center space. The firm will now operate as Lincoln Rackhouse, and expand its mission to include data center development and construction services for enterprise clients.

"We see an incredible opportunity in the development cycle for our data center clients and we are excited to join one of the most successful and reputable organizations in the country," said Rackhouse's Martin Peck. Rackhouse consists of three veterans of the mission critical facilities business at Trammell Crow Co., including Peck, Peter Tippen and Brant Bernet. The trio formed Rackhouse in 2006 to provide site selection and tenant representation services.

Lincoln Property Company (LPC) is one of the largest diversified real estate services companies in the industry, with more than 4,000 professionals in over 100 markets in the United States and Europe. Lincoln said the addition of Rackhouse will boost its data center business.

“We are excited to have Rackhouse as part of the Lincoln team," said Greg Courtwright, LPC’s Chief Operating Officer. "We look forward to having these guys as our front engine leading us into a dynamic, but underserved business segment."

Lincoln Rackhouse will re-locate their offices into Lincoln Property Company’s national corporate headquarters located at 2000 McKinney in Dallas.
