At last week's Velocity 2010 conference, many of the presentations featured large sites like Google, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter. Joshua Bixby, President of Strangeloop Networks, focused on site optimization for "mortal companies" - smaller organizations that may not be able to afford an army of developers.
