Total Site Solutions selected by US DoD. Fortress International Group (FIGI) announced that its subsidiary, Total Site Solutions has been awarded a contract with an international consulting firm, for work primarily in support of the United States Department of Defense and associated agencies.  Work recently commenced on the $10 million Blanket Order Agreement that covers architectural, engineering, and construction support services for a variety of minor and new construction projects.  "We have worked with these DoD agencies on multiple projects over the last several years, and are proud that they have again recognized our technical capabilities and expertise in working with mission critical facilities," said Fortress' President and COO Gerald Gallagher. "Given the prime contract is for a five-year duration, we are confident our contract will also extend beyond 2010. We also believe Fortress is well positioned to secure additional business from this customer as subsequent project phases are initiated,"

Isilon deployed by StrataScale. Isilon Systems (ISLN) announced that StrataScale, Inc. has deployed Isilon scale-out NAS to power its new Private Cloud service, offering organizations a responsive, reliable and secure cloud computing platform utilizing dedicated physical resources.  StrataScale can reduce capital costs and operational overhead by with storage resources scaling in sync with customer demand. "We've seen significant demand for our Private Cloud offering, and consequently we require a storage solution that can match our platform's flexibility and keep pace with growing demand," said Denoid Tucker, vice president of technology at StrataScale. "Isilon scale-out NAS does exactly that."
