Level 3 Refines its Content Delivery Network

Level 3 Communications (LVLT) continues to refine its content delivery offering. In this video, Level 3's Mark Taylor provides an update on the company's content delivery business and its Vyvx unit, which provides video "backhaul" delivery services for TV sports and news broadcasts.

Level 3 Communications (LVLT) entered the content delivery market with a unique position: it already owned a global network backbone, which it uses to provide connectivity to scores of enterprise customers. The company continues to refine its CDN offering, according to Mark Taylor, the Vice President of Product Delivery and Strategy, Content Markets, for  Level 3. We caught up with Taylor last week at Streaming Media East for a conversation about Level 3's content delivery business. This video runs about 7 minutes.
