Level 3 Communications (LVLT) entered the content delivery market with a unique position: it already owned a global network backbone, which it uses to provide connectivity to scores of enterprise customers. The company continues to refine its CDN offering, according to Mark Taylor, the Vice President of Product Delivery and Strategy, Content Markets, for Level 3.
