Elliptical Mobile Solutions is an Arizona company that makes “micro-modular” data centers, which adapt many of the principles of containerized data centers to a smaller form factor. One of the companies products, the R.A.S.E.R. (Relocatable Adaptive Suspension Equipment Rack) has been named a finalist in this week’s “Best of Interop” infrastructure category. The R.A.S.E.R. is a is 42U fireproof enclosure that includes a closed loop cooling system that can provide 42,000 BTU of cooling directly to the equipment.
