Digital Realty Trust is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Technician (heating, ventilation, and Air Conditioning) at its Bedford, MA data center. This individual will report to the on-site Director and will be part of a mission-critical facilities management team charged with insuring 100% uptime at this location.
Candidates for this position must possess strong HVAC/mechanical/electrical skills and be willing to work in a fast-paced, mission critical environment. Responsibilities include
- Efficient, uninterrupted operation of central cooling plant.
- Preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance of chillers, pumps, piping, air handlers, boilers, computer room air handlers (CRAH’s), and controls.
- Working knowledge of JCI Metasys Building Automation System, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Repair.
- 5 years in Data Center Facilities Management or equivalent experience in maintenance/construction of Data Centers or other critical environments.
