Emerson Network Power is introducing Aperture Integrated Resource Manager, a new tool to help data center managers improve efficiency and better manage capacity to extend the lifespan of existing infrastructure resources. Emerson says the new Aperture solution can enable customers to delay new data center builds, increase rack densities, better utilize existing resources and improve staff efficiency. The new product is being introduced today in conjunction with the AFCOM Data Center World Spring 2010 conference in Nashville.

"Our customers have told us that in the wake of the recent downturn, there is a new paradigm for efficiently managing data centers," said Thomas Waun, president of Emerson Network Power’s Aperture business. "Improving overall efficiency is the new imperative in business and in the data center, and Aperture Integrated Resource Manager is a visionary solution that will provide significant cost savings through holistic management of energy consumption, capital resources and process efficiency."
