Cloud is a noun (a place ... a logical/virtual thing you can draw and point to), cloud computing is a verb (something you do to deploy/use/access the cloud).

Maybe the singer B.J. Thomas back in the 70s when he did the song - "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" was pondering the Cloud.

'Raindrops keep fallin' on my head And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed Nothin' seems to fit"

You should take icloud.com for a spin (PaaS & SaaS). Cloud computing is for me multi tenant, elastic, scaleable to millions of people and always available. It is probably PaaS and builds on core technologies as virtualization. Co-location, Citrix services or pure hosting services alone is hard to justify as Cloud Computing. It is also hard to argue that a service like Facebook or Twitter is Cloud Computing, but it definently builds on Cloud Computing technologies.
