We have colocation facility in the same building as Peer1 at 151 Front St Toronto, Suite 822 and we had a lot comments from Peer1 customers regarding the incident. It was a surprise to us a couple of floors were shut down as a result of the problem in one suite. We have a couple of customers who have equipment in both of our facilities (www.carrierconnex.net) and Peer1 and they thought it was a problem in our facility as well. We had to explain to them that we have a completely separate electrical system and that we did not have an outage thankfully due to our state of the art back up systems. This clearly shows that it’s important for customers to have equipment with different providers and not consolidate everything in one location.
