		<description>VPS servers are good for computer science students who need root to learn.

However, there are performance, stability/recovery, and price/value issues around VPSs.

VPSs are between 3 and 10 times slower than physical machines. When a server0 hypervisor fails, corruption in the VMs is difficult to diagnose.

The price/value point for a VPS is not there -- on a per-GB of hard drive/RAM/telecom basis VPS are the same price or higher than dedicated machines -- which makes no sense.</description>
