		<description>As I watch the cloud space more and more and listen to all the noise associated with it - public vs. private, secure/insecure, who owns the data, yaada yadda yadda, one question for me remains unanswered -

Isn&#039;t the cloud merely an exercise in accounting? 

Instead of turning the box and apps from cap ex into opex by outsourcing, isn&#039;t this going one step down into the components (RAM/Disk/CPU)? Are transistors next? Electrons?</description>
