Instead of turning the box and apps from cap ex into opex by outsourcing, isn't this going one step down into the components (RAM/Disk/CPU)? Are transistors next? Electrons? As I watch the cloud space more and more and listen to all the noise associated with it – public vs. private, secure/insecure, who owns the data, yaada yadda yadda, one question for me remains unanswered -

Instead of turning the box and apps from cap ex into opex by outsourcing, isn’t this going one step down into the components (RAM/Disk/CPU)? Are transistors next? Electrons?
