eWeek Malware Alert

Yesterday the eWeek.com web site was infected with “a toxic stew of multiple varieties of malware,” according to InternetNews.com. eWeek has acknowledged the issue and cleaned up the exploit, which it says was injected into its site through a banner ad served by DoubleClick. 

We didn’t link directly to eWeek in any of our posts yesterday, but we’ve linked to their coverage of the data center industry many times in the past. If you were on the eWeek site yesterday, it’s a good idea to run some security scans.
