Today's installment from the Intel "great debate" panels examines the move to higher density server installations in data centers, and differing perspectives on how best to manage density. The panel includes much discussion of how to define "high density" and the economics of data center space. Presenting the case for high-density computing are David Driggers from Verari Systems, David Moss of Dell and David Segar of IDC Architects. The team advocating for lower density includes Christian Belady of Microsoft, and James Shuder and Mukesh Khattar from Oracle. This video runs about 1 hour.
